League Two leaders Chesterfield travel to Accrington Stanley knowing a win would cement their title as favourites to win League Two.
It seems the rest of League Two are playing catch-up to John Sheridan’s side but the Spireites could be in for a blip on Monday when they travel to an Accrington side who have won all three of their home games against Chesterfield in League Two.
Stanley are a big price at 15/8 to beat Chesterfield at home, and punters should be taking on the League Two leaders.
Chesterfield may have demolished Accrington 5-2 earlier in the season, but the 11/8 offers little value for an away win and Accrington can spring a shock on Monday – a 2-1 Accrington win is priced at 10/1.
Port Vale vs Burton Albion
Should Chesterfield slip up at Accrington, then Port Vale can close the gap at the top of the league by beating Burton Albion and they are evens to do so.
The two sides have only ever met three times in their history with and both sides have a win to their name from last season, and this season’s reverse fixture ended 0-0.
Despite their New Year’s Day humbling, Vale should be too strong for Burton at home and a repeat of last season’s 3-1 home win is priced at 14/1 with Port Vale 12/5 to be leading at half time and full time.
Bradford vs Bury
Bury have been the surprise team that are keeping up with the pacesetters in League Two, although they face a tough trip to Bradford to keep track with the leaders. The Shakers are 7/5 to win, with Bradford 9/5.
When there’s little separating both sides in the betting market, the draw is usually the outcome and punters can take advantage of the 12/5 for this game to end even.
A £10 treble on Accrington, Port Vale and the draw would return £154.16. New customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
