Stockport County travel north across Manchester on Saturday in a bid to distance themselves from the relegation zone.
But neighbours Bury are flying in League Two at present but a home loss to Bradford in their last League Two game leaves Stockport with a glimmer of hope in picking up the three points they so desperately need.
Just 13.6 miles separate the two football grounds, but it will be Bury’s Gigg Lane that will house the entertainment on Saturday, and the League Two betting market suggest Bury should be confident of beating their southern neighbours – Bury are 4/7 to beat Stockport.
Stockport are on a run of five games without a win but their 1-1 draw with Peterborough United in the FA Cup will have brought confidence to the squad and with the game being a local derby, Stockport should have no excuse to find the motivation for the win – they are 5/1 to beat Bury.
Torquay vs Barnet
Torquay are enjoying a renaissance as of late and this can continue when they meet League Two’s bottom side Barnet on Saturday.
A run of 10 games without a win was brought to halt when Torquay beat Morecambe, and since then the Gulls have won their following two games against Oxford United and Mansfield Town and are 8/13 to continue their winning run.
Barnet’s three wins this season have all come at home and the bottom side have lost six of their seven games on the road, conceding 20 goals, and are 9/2 to beat Torquay.
Morecambe vs Lincoln
Morecambe have lost just once to Lincoln in six League Two ties and are 10/11 to beat Lincoln on Saturday.
But three of the games between the two have ended in 1-1 draw and that is priced at 11/2 to happen on Saturday.
Lincoln are 3/1 to beat Morecambe. See the full League Two football betting odds here.
