Tuesday night is a huge night at the top of the table in League Two as Chesterfield attempt to stake their claim for the title.
The Spireites are beginning to drift away from the chasing pack and a win against play-off automatic promotion-chasing Gillingham – they are 15/8 to do so – would strengthen their grip on the League Two title.
But Gillingham are in a fine run of form and a win for the Gills would put them just one point outside the automatic promotion places.
Considering Chesterfield haven’t beaten Gillingham in their last nine attempts, the 11/8 for Gillingham to win looks the pick of Tuesday night’s value.
Goals are few and far between when the two teams meet and it’s 8/11 that the match produces under 2.5 goals.
Stevenage vs Rotherham United
Rotherham will be looking to capitalise on any Chesterfield slip-up but Stevenage have won their last three home games, including a win over Newcastle United in the FA Cup, and Graham Westley’s side are 6/5 to beat Rotherham.
The only time the two teams have played each other was back in October and the game finished 1-1.
A repeat of that 1-1 scoreline is priced at 11/2 but Stevenage can just sneak it and 2-1 looks the value at 7/1.
Oxford United vs Shrewsbury
The Shrews are back in the title race after overcoming their slump, and Graham Turner’s side can continue their rise up the table at Oxford and are 21/10 to win.
Shrewsbury have scored eight goals without reply in their last three games against the U’s and with Mark Wright spearheading the attack, Shrewsbury can win comfortably and they are a very tempting 11/1 to win 2-0.
Wright is 9/1 to score the opening goal and a scorecast combining Wright and a 2-0 win is priced at 66/1.
A £10 treble on Gillingham, Stevenage and Shrewsbury would return £161.90. New customers can sign up here for a free bet worth £25.
