It’s a crunch weekend for the teams in and around the play-off places in League Two, and Crewe, Oxford and Bury all have the opportunity to strengthen their position.
Crewe Alexandra vs Gillingham
With just two losses in 15 games, Gillingham enter this game as one of the form teams in League Two and at are available at 15/8 to beat Crewe on Saturday.
Crewe are the 11/8 favourites and have beaten Gillingham on the last three starts, but they enter the game on the back of consecutive away defeat and considering Gillingham’s rise up the table, punters would be better off backing the Kent club.
The three most recent games have all produced plenty of goals – 12 in total – and backing over 2.5 goals at 4/5 looks the pick of the market.
Oxford United vs Rotherham United
Rotherham were ousted from the top three in midweek thanks to a fourth consecutive away defeat, and Oxford look the pick of Saturday’s League Two betting at 11/8 to beat Rotherham.
Oxford are within reach of the play-off places and a win over Rotherham would put them right in the hunt, and the third best home attack in the league can waltz to a 3-1 win which is priced at 18/1.
Rotherham are 15/8 to win on Saturday but having conceded eight goals in their last two games, Oxford can take advantage of a defence that’s lacking in confidence.
Stockport County vs Bury
It’s a rivalry that hasn’t provided much excitement in recent years, and with Stockport propping up the division, Bury can edge to a win and they are 5/6 to do so.
Bury are on a three match winning streak and Stockport are winless in nine and with Ryan Lowe is such strong scoring form, punters should back Lowe to score first and a 1-0 Bury win at 18/1.
A £25 stake on Bury winning 1-0would return £175. New customers can sign up here for a free League Two bet worth £25.
