Accrington Stanley are fast becoming the draw specialists of League two with four in their first six League games.
Accrington have scored just four goals in their six games, providing the Accy faithful with the least entertaining start to the season in the Football League with one win and five draws.
But with many expecting Accrington to battle it out at the foot of the table, the Stanley fans will be happy to find themselves in 10th with eight points.
The reverse fixture last year ended in a 1-0 win to Accrington, it’s 7/1 for the same result to happen on Friday, but Lincoln have fared well at the Crown Ground with 10 wins in 24 appearances there.
Gavin McCallum, Lincoln’s summer signing from Hereford had been out for four weeks with a hip injury but has declared himself fit to make his debut and could be thrust into the team by manager Chris Sutton in a bid to improve his sides fortunes.
Like Accrington, Lincoln are not used to finidng the back of the net, managing just the five goals from six games, and McCallum will be hoping to endear himself to the Imps’ fans with a goal on his debut, he is 8/1 to score first.
Despite the poor scoring records of both teams, this game has seen 10 goals in the four games these two have contested since Accrington’s return to the Football League.
Accrington will be hopeful of continuing their unbeaten run and at 11/10 they are favourites to take the three points but the value is in backing the draw at 12/5.
Lincoln are 12/5 to take all three points in the North West. See the full Accrington Stanley vs Lincoln City match betting market here.
