Promotion is already secure for Wolves but with the League One title yet to be decided, Kenny Jackett’s side will be playing at their peak against a playoff-bound Leyton Orient.
The O’s form hasn’t been automatic-promotion worthy for some time now, having only experienced a league victory once in the last seven matches. With that objective now beyond them, the final three games are likely to be a body-resting exercise as the promotion lottery approaches.
However, the Wanderers’ recent away games lend themselves to a punt of a different nature, with the 3/1 on an away win to nil the intended selection.
The Molineux club have managed to keep their sheets clean in seven of their last nine matches away from their own stadium in League One. With six of those ending up as victories that price looks extremely alluring.
Considering Orient have only scored two goals in their four games against the division’s current top six, the Wolves win to nil looks even more tempting while the 19/10 on a straight Wolves clean sheet looks good as a safety net.
Under 2.5 goals has been another theme of Wolves’ away days of late, with all of their last four in League One falling under that marker. It’s 4/5 that a fifth straight match of less than three total goals occurs at Brisbane Road.
Their last three games, home or away, have seen Jackett’s men score two or more, the last of which was a 6-4 thriller with Rotherham, and the 6/5 on Wolves themselves scoring more than 1.5 is another price that smacks of value.
