Keith Curle’s Notts County team are yet to taste defeat on the road this season and will head to Deepdale brimming with confidence.
Their price of 21/10 is the highlight of our League One accumulator that also anticipates wins for Doncaster, Swindon and the MK Dons to pay out at a handsome 33/1.
Notts County to beat Preston @ 21/10
Both these sides have promotion intentions this campaign and, with the pair hovering around the play-off zone, a win for either could be crucial.
While Preston are unbeaten in six across all competitions, they’re yet to win at home in the league since the middle of September, scoring just twice in that time.
You’ve got to fancy a County side to get the win at such long-odds given their fantastic record on the road. They’ve bagged 12 goals in their last five away from Meadow Lane so are more than capable of toppling goal-shy North End.
Swindon to beat Brentford @ 10/11
Paolo Di Canio’s men snapped a four-game winless streak at the County Ground last time out and they’re very reasonably priced to record a second win in succession against the Bees.
Brentford have recorded just the solitary league win on the road all season and needed an 89th minute equaliser to salvage a draw last time out at Preston; it was the third time they’d snatched a draw in the final minute of an away match this campaign.
These last-ditch escape acts can’t keep bailing them out so back the reliant Robins to show their consistency of old.
MK Dons to beat Shrewsbury @ 11/10
The Shrews squeaked by Crewe in their previous outing to record their first win in six matches; they lost five times on this barren spell. Their past two home wins have been followed up with a defeat and, with the Dons firmly in the promotion mix, more of the same should be on the cards.
With four wins from as many League One clashes without conceding a goal, it’s hard to oppose Karl Robinson’s side here. They recently bettered pace-setters Tranmere and previously unbeaten Sheff United so anything other than a fifth successive victory for the Dons would be a surprise.
Doncaster to beat Carlisle @ 17/10
A 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Leyton Orient last time out means that Carlisle will need to have immeasurably improved in the last few days if they wish to prevent Doncaster, a far superior side, claiming all three points at Brunton Park.
Rovers won at Pompey in their last game to record a fourth win in six games. No team has lost more home games in the division than Carlisle and Donny will have too much for them here.
