The FA Cup may take precedence for many of the lower league teams this weekend, but Bournemouth can enhance their title credentials in League One while their rivals are taking part in the third round of the cup.

Both Brighton and Southampton have home games against Portsmouth and Blackpool respectively in the FA Cup, leaving Bournemouth free to leapfrog Southampton and close the gap on Brighton with a win over Plymouth.

Bournemouth are 5/6 to beat Plymouth but face visitors that have taken 11 points from their last 15 and won away from home last time out against Bristol Rovers.

A win for Plymouth, priced at 10/3, would put them in serious contention for a play-off place but Bournemouth, with home advantage, should just prosper.

Either way, it should be a high-scoring game at Dean Court and punters should take advantage of the 10/11 for over 2.5 goals and the 25/1 for Bournemouth to win 3-2.

Tranmere vs Walsall

It’s a big weekend for teams at the bottom of League One and an away win for bottom club Walsall would take them within five points of Tranmere, who sit in 20th place.

But Walsall have just two away wins to their name this season and Tranmere are the favourites at 1/1 to beat Walsall.

Both teams are stuggling to find the net in the league – Tranmere have 12 goals in 11 home games and Walsall nine goals in 11 away games – and a 0-0 scoreline could provide the value for punters at 10/1.

Dagenham & Redbridge vs Rochdale

Rochdale edged this one 3-2 back in October and won at Victoria Road last season, leaving the 17/10 for Rochdale to win looking the best value.

Both teams remain in good goal-scoring form and a high-scoring game could be on the cards again – back over 2.5 goals at 10/11.

A £10 treble on Bournemouth, Tranmere and Rochdale winning would return £99. New customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
