Arsenal seem to have finally sorted out their home form of late and they should have no problems living up to football betting odds of 2/7 to claim another Emirates victory against Leeds in the third round of the FA Cup.

Match Odds

Arsenal may have missed out on winning three home games in a row for the first time this season because of a stubborn display by Manchester City, but they should have no such troubles finding the target against Leeds.

Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger’s team have also triumphed in four of their last five games against Leeds, which includes a 4-1 victory at Elland Road in the FA Cup in 2004.

Arsenal may not have been eliminated at the third round stage of the FA Cup since 1996, but Leeds may fancy their chances of causing an upset.

They knocked out one of the favourites at the same stage of the competition 12 months ago when they triumphed 1-0 at Manchester United and they also were unfortunate to draw away at Spurs in the fourth round.

Leeds’ betting odds are 9/1 to beat Arsenal, with the draw that will ensure a replay at Elland Road priced at 9/2.

Correct Scoreline

Goals should not prove a problem for Arsenal based on their previous record against Leeds and the Championship club’s defensive record in the league this season.

Arsenal have managed to score 19 goals in their last five showdowns with Leeds and have helped themselves to at least four in each of the last three meetings.

Furthermore, Leeds have one of the worst defensive records in the Championship as they have let in 43 times in their 26 games.

It is 10/1 that Arsenal beat Leeds 4-0, but perhaps the more profitable bet is the 16/1 on offer that they secure their passage into the fourth round with a 4-1 success.

A £10 bet on Arsenal beating Leeds 3-1 could lead to a return of £100. New Ladbrokes customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
