While the other two big guns Arsenal and Manchester United have been drawn to face each other in the quarter finals at Old Trafford, which will obviously see one of them fail to reach the last four, Mancini’s task on paper seems far easier.

Although theoretically still in Premier League title contention, any hopes of finishing in top spot are miniscule and therefore their other realistic hope of silverware is in the Europa League.
Manchester City’s betting odds are 4/1 to win the Europa League and they have been favourites to triumph since the start of the season.
