Neil Warnock looks set to rest several key players for his side’s trip to Ewood Park – meaning Blackburn look a very temping bet at 10/11 in the FA Cup betting.

Warnock has already shown the cup competitions are an unwelcome distraction to the more pressing league matters – especially with his side 10/11 favourites in the Championship betting to win the title and gain promotion to the Premier League.

He fielded a hugely weakened side for their Carling Cup game against Port Vale back in August – a game they lost 3-1 – and looks set to do the same this weekend.

He said: “I can’t see certain payers playing five games in 12 days and if I have a choice, the fifth one is the least important to me at the moment.

“We will go and try and win the game, but it’s not a priority.”

That approach will be music to the ears of Blackburn boss Steve Kean who heads into this game on the back of some excellent form at Ewood Park – Blackburn have just one defeat in their last five games on home soil.

They overcame Liverpool 3-1 in their last match thanks to a brilliant performance and two strikes from Benjani, meaning Rovers have now scored three goals in both of their previous two home games. They can be backed at 12/1 to win this game either 3-1 or 3-0.

If you’re not feeling that adventurous though, just the straight win for Rovers is very tempting at 10/11, especially against a side with just one away win in their last seven on the road.

A £10 bet on Blackburn to win 3-2 could lead to a return of £250. New Ladbrokes customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
