After a successful week thus far in terms of football predictions, the safety net bet is sticking with a winning strategy tonight as some of the smaller teams in Spain play in the second round of the Copa Del Rey.

Bosnia were victorious for the safety net bet yesterday when they needed a late goal to seal a 1-0 victory over nine-man Belarus in their Euro 2012 qualifier.

But a winning bet is a winning bet no matter how the means and we are banking on Hercules to complete us a hat-trick of football successes tonight in their home clash with Alcoyano, as there is little other sport taking pace with any logical bankers in action.

Both clubs currently ply their trade in the Segunda Division, which is the second tier of Spanish football, but have arrived there through different means.

Hercules were relegated from La Liga after putting up a strong fight last season, while Alcoyano are enjoying participating in their highest level of Spanish football since 1969.

Alcoyano certainly have the weaker of the two squads if it is decided that players need resting and have only taken one point from their opening two league games.

Meanwhile, Hercules have opened with two victories, which have also both come without any goals being conceded.

The latter of these came away at Deportivo La Coruna, which would have been a big confidence boost to the squad.

Everything points to a Hercules win, which can be backed at 4/7, and we will be staking £35 on this result to fulfil our daily aim of making £20 profit.

Current Status
Bank: £409
Today’s stake: £35
Best case scenario: £429
Worst case scenario: £374

Last Safety Net bet: Bosnia to beat Belarus @ 4/7

Wealth warning: although we are confident the safety net bet’s strategy will be profitable over a period of time, the nature of sport means we cannot guarantee you will win every single time.
