Inter Milan are still to drop any points under the guidance of Leonardo and his 100 per cent winning record has every chance of continuing against Bologna.

It is 2/7 in the Serie A betting that Inter beat Bologna and make it five wins on the bounce in all competitions, which would keep up their charge towards neighbours AC Milan at the head of the league standings.

Inter have avoided defeat in their last 11 league meetings with Bologna and have not tasted defeat at the San Siro against the opposition since 1998.

However, Bologna have not been playing too badly themselves of late and have taken seven points from their last three away games, during which time they have failed to concede a goal.

Bologna’s betting odds are 11/1 to beat Inter and in Marco Di Vaio they have one of the form players in Serie A at present.

Like Inter, Palermo are another team just on the periphery of the Serie A title race and their chances of moving into closer contention may be hit by Cagliari.

Palermo are 2/1 to beat Cagliari, but their recent away form suggests that this will prove a tough challenge.

Delio Rossi’s team have won just one of their last six away games in the league, but have lost once in their last eight games altogether in Serie A.

Cagliari have beaten Palermo in one of their last seven encounters between the two, but represent good betting value at 7/5 to do so again this season.

Alternatively, it may pay to back the draw, which was the result on both occasions the teams met in the league during the last campaign.

Football betting odds are 11/5 that the points are shared.

A £25 bet on Inter beating Bologna 1-0 could see a return of £150. New Ladbrokes customers can sign up here for a free £25 bet.
