Given the strength of their recent home form, Fiorentina look significantly overpriced at 11/5 in the Serie A betting to take the three points from their clash with Inter Milan.

Fiorentina have lost just one of their last eight Serie A games and have won six of their last seven home fixtures in the Italian top flight.

Inter are now eight points behind neighbours AC Milan at the top of the Serie A standings and will need to quickly bounce back from their defeat at Juventus.

They have beaten Fiorentina in eight of the last ten meetings between the pair and it is 13/10 that Inter secure victory again.

Samuel Eto’o may have a point to prove after missing a sitter in the closing stages of that Inter defeat and could be worth supporting at 5/1 to score the opening goal against Fiorentina.

Meanwhile, excitement may be limited in the other Serie A game, with the 4/7 offered on under 2.5 goals looking like the best bet as Sampdoria prepare to host Genoa.

Both clubs saw their leading scorers for the season leave during the January transfer window, with Giampaolo Pazzini heading to AC Milan from Sampdoria and Juventus signing Luca Toni from Genoa.

This will not help either club in their quest for goals and only two of Genoa’s last nine Serie A games have witnessed more than two goals being scored.

Goals do not tend to be any more common in fixtures featuring Sampdoria, with a maximum of two goals scored in four of their last six league fixtures.

With home advantage, it is perhaps Sampdoria that are the most likely to take maximum points at 13/8, with Genoa 15/8 to land the spoils.

A £25 stake on Fiorentina beating Inter 2-1 would return £250. New customers can sign up here for a free £25 bet.
