The Coppa Italia has served up one of the juiciest quarter-final battles imaginable, as the Serie A’s top two teams scrap over a place in the competition’s last four.

Juventus and Roma are separated by eight points at the peak of the Italian domestic league, with the Old Lady leading the way. The pair have lost just two matches between them in that competition and as such are naturally hard to split in the match betting market.

Roma’s role as the home side leaves them as the slim favourites to win, at 29/20, while Juve are priced up at 17/10 and the draw is a 21/10 long shot in the market.

However, it is the Antonio Conte-managed visitors’ love of a goal that will go a long way to landing the best bet of the night, which revolves around the 21/10 about there being more than 3.5 goals in the game.

The black-and-white striped Turin side have been on an incredible scoring run recently, slotting three or more goals in all of their last six outings.
That run of lavishness includes a 3-0 win over Roma in the league three games ago, so it’s fair to assume that Conte’s men will go a long way to helping this particular punt land all by themselves.

However, Roma have been no slouches in front of goal either, notching four in their win over Genoa two weeks ago and following that performance up with three more against Livorno last time out.

What’s more, Francesco Totti’s men have only failed to score once in their last five home games against Juventus and have not been shut out in any competition at Stadio Olimpico once all season.

For those who prefer the warm, snugly comfort of a 2.5-goal blanket, then that’s available at a far shorter, but still tempting 17/20.
