The 2013-14 Bundesliga season exploded into life with 37 goals scored on the opening weekend. And this 10/1 treble throws our weight behind the teams we think will have no trouble finding the back of the net in round two of the fledgling campaign.

Borussia Mönchengladbach had the somewhat thankless task of kicking-off against champions Bayern Munich.

But the visit of Hannover should present more of a level playing field while Bayer Leverkusen and newly-promoted Hertha Berlin started in style and can carry on their good work.

Stuttgart v Leverkusen – Leverkusen to win @ 23/20

Last season’s third-placed side Bayer Leverkusen were 3-1 victors over Freiburg in their first fixture and they can overcome Stuttgart when they visit Baden-Württemberg.

The hosts lost out 3-2 in Mainz in their opener and the return home may not provide much respite.

Leverkusen have won three of their last four at the Mercedes-Benz arena and can pounce on a team who only managed to win a paltry five of 17 home contests last term.

Borussia Mönchengladbach v Hannover 96 – Mönchengladbach to win @ 5/6

Gladbach achieved top-half respectability last season with eight home victories and they welcome a Hannover side who they’ve lost to just once in their previous five encounters.

By contrast the visitors were poor on the road in 2012-13 collecting just 13 points and keeping only two clean sheets.

‘Die Fohlen’ have netted against Hannover in each of their five previous home ties and they look good value to strike again and take advantage of more potential away day blues.

Nürnberg v Hertha Berlin – Berlin to win @ 2/1

Hertha Berlin celebrated their return to the top-flight with an emphatic 6-1 hammering of Eintracht Frankfurt. And the capital club are an intriguing pick to complete our treble.

Berlin suffered only two defeats on the way to claiming the Bundesliga 2. title last season and the feelgood factor surrounding the team could carry them through this next test against a Nürnberg side who’ve won just two of their last seven league games.
