Some of the Europa League groups are already virtually sewn up in terms of which clubs have already qualified for the knockout stages of the competition and which are turning up for their final two games almost simply to fulfil fixture obligations.

Therefore, what better way of picking a winner than selecting a team flying high in the competition, playing at home to one with nothing but pride to realistically play for.

The straight fourfold on Dnipro, Sevilla, AZ Alkmaar and Esbjerg pays out at a smidgen less than 5/1, but backing the quartet to all triumph when giving up one-goal handicaps boosts the accumulator price to 40/1.

Dnipro (-1) to beat Panduri @ 20/21

Dnipro have won seven of their last nine European home games and have already beaten their Romanian opposition 1-0 on the road in an earlier Group E outing this season.

Dnipro dominated on that night and Juande Ramos’ team can be expected to do so again.

Sevilla (-1) to beat Estoril @ 17/20

Sevilla have found their form with two successive domestic victories and both of these have been by a margin of at least two goals.

The Spaniards are also unbeaten in five European home outings and have already beaten Estoril 2-1 in Group H.

AZ Alkmaar (-1) to beat Maccabi Haifa @ 27/20

Maccabi have already conceded at least twice in their two other away games in Group L and AZ are tougher competition than both Shakhter Karagandy and PAOK.

Additionally, AZ have netted at least two in four of their last five home games in all competitions and the Israeli visitors were beaten 3-0 on their only previous trip to Holland, when facing Vitesse Arnhem.

Esbjerg (-1) to beat Standard Liege @ 19/5

Esbjerg caused one of the shocks of the opening round of Europa League group-stage fixtures when winning the reverse of this fixture 2-1, ending Standard’s six-game winning home run to kick-off the campaign in the process.

The Danish hosts have certainly been saving their best for this competition and given Standard have little to play for, they are likely to focus attentions back to maintaining their lead at the head of the Belgian top-flight.
