Fresh Wales joy and Holland woe tipped in Euro 2016 qualifying

The latter stages of Euro 2016 qualifying are proving rather more exciting than many will have expected, and Ladbrokes are cranking the dial up even more ahead of the next round of continental clashes.

If you place a five-fold accumulator or upwards on Euro 2016 qualifying matches and exactly one selection loses, the bookies will refund your losing stake up to £25 as a free bet.*

You can’t say fairer than that. Here’s our five-fold, which pays out at over 68/1 if the business gets done.

Wales to beat Israel @ 10/11

Chris Coleman’s men can assure qualification with victory in Cardiff, and after the Gareth Bale-inspired Dragons’ five wins and two draws so far in Group B, it’s tough to look past them.

Wales trio Joe Ledley, Aaron Ramsey and Gareth Bale

Turkey v Holland – Draw @ 21/10

A change of manager from Guus Hiddink to Danny Blind didn’t bring the desired effect against Iceland, with Holland beaten 1-0 on their own patch, and Turkey haven’t lost at home to European opposition for almost a year, so the Dutch renaissance may be further delayed in Konya.

Croatia to beat Norway @ 6/5

A tight call, as only two points separate Group H’s first and third-placed teams, while Italy sandwich in the middle, but with Niko Kovacs’ side facing a points deduction thanks to some of their fans’ repeated racism, Croatia need to win in Oslo.

Latvia v Czech Republic – Draw @ 3/1

The visitors are clear favourites to take all the points in Riga, being 12 ahead of their hosts in Group A, but a quick glance at the sides’ respective form paints an interesting picture.

Only Holland (twice) have beaten Latvia in their last six all-competition outings, which includes a 1-1 draw against Czech Republic, who only snapped a three-game winless run with a come-from-behind 2-1 home triumph over Kazakhstan last time out.

Draw written all over it.

Belgium to beat Cyprus @ 1/3

The banker of the bunch in Nicosia, where the hosts have lost to Israel and Wales so far, only avoiding defeat in a 5-0 trouncing of Andorra, while Belgium need every point still available if they’re to overhaul Coleman’s pace-setters.
