It was a case of job done, rather than job well done, when England cruised to a 5-0 win over San Marino but Estonia will provide a sterner test for the Three Lions on Sunday.

The hosts may have lost last time out but they have won two of their last four and their last three defeats have come by just a single goal.

That said, England go into the tie expecting to win and this is reflected in their pricing as 1/5 favourites.

Estonia can be backed to cause an upset at 11/1, with the draw on at 5/1, but here Ladbrokes News highlights some of the best value bets on the night.

Rooney to score and England to win @ 8/11

For all the criticism aimed at Rooney – and his displays for England have been underwhelming for some time – the captain is in a decent run of form in front of goal.

Wazza tucked away his penalty against San Marino with confidence to take his tally for club and country to five goals in nine games this season.

He has netted twice in his last three England outings and was on the sheet last time the Three Lions faced Estonia – a 3-0 win in 2007.

England to win to nil @ 8/11

The win looks beyond doubt but punters can get better odds by coupling the result with a clean sheet for Roy Hodgson’s men.

Estonia have conceded in four of their last five games and look there for the taking against an England side that has kept four clean sheets in a row.

Half-time score – 0-0 @ 11/5

If you must take an odds-against bet then the 0-0 half-time score is probably the safest option.

That has been the score at the break in three of England’s last four games and it took a good 24 minutes to break down lowly San Marino at Wembley.

Further credibility is lent to this option by Estonia’s failure to score a first half goal in their last seven outings.
