Bale 4/1 to score with Ronaldo to draw a blank…and more specials!

Gareth Bale may have left the goalscoring heroics to his teammates against Belgium, but with 10 goals in his last 15 appearances for Wales, it’s likely he’ll have plenty of backers to score anytime at 2/1, while it’s 4/1 that he finds the net and Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo fails to do so.

The Dragons head into this game having won four of their five Euros games within 90 minutes, something which Portugal have failed to do once. And a big part of that success has been down to the goalscoring feats of winger Hal Robson-Kanu

It’s 10/1 that he repeats his now-legendary Cruyff turn AND scores, while 14s say that both he and Bale will get their names on the scoresheet – a feat the duo achieved in the 2-1 triumph over Slovakia in Bordeaux.

There’s been plenty of value in backing Wales to upset the odds so far this tournament, with one savvy Ladbrokes punter plonking a grand on Chris Coleman’s men winning the Euros at 80/1.

But one man unlikely to doff his cap to Welsh success is Ronaldo, with 14/1 offered for him to repeat his ‘small mentality’ jibe against tomorrow night’s opponents, and if the 9/2 for Bale to outscore the former Man United man comes in tonight, we could well see another petulant outburst from the Portuguese star.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Nobody seems able to slay the Dragons at Euro 2016, and if Bale and Robson-Kanu are on song again, we could see Ronaldo have a wobble on the pitch and throw a wobbly off it.”
