Odds of Luton Town League Cup triumph cut by a whopping 70 per cent

Luton Town recorded a famous victory over former European Cup winners Aston Villa in last night’s League Cup clash, and their odds of lifting the trophy for the second time in their history have been slashed from 1000/1 to 300/1.

So, in tribute to the Hatters’ heroics, we’re offering a series of exciting specials which are sure to interest fans of the Kenilworth Road outfit.

Nathan Jones’ men are just 4/1 to beat any Premier League club in this season’s League Cup, while it’s 6/1 they achieve the feat in the FA Cup.

And our traders reckon Luton could be making regular trips to Old Trafford and Anfield before too long, with 7/2 for the Hatters to reach the Premier League by 2021-22.

Meanwhile, there could be a trip to the grandest venue of all – Wembley – this season, with Nathan Jones’ men 16/1 to reach the final of the EFL Trophy.

However, given Leicester City’s 5000/1 exploits, fans of underdogs across the country are feeling confident.

And optimistic Hatters fans can back their men to reach the League Cup final for a third time at 125/1, or at 300s to lift the trophy for the first time since 1988.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “Luton sent former European Cup winners packing last night, and those Heroic Hatters could put more of the game’s giants to the sword this season.”

Meanwhile, League Two will be the Hatters’ main focus until their second round tie against Leeds United – and it’s 6/4 they win promotion from the fourth tier of English football this time out.
