Saido Berahino looks certain to end his tempestuous relationship with boyhood club West Brom this summer, with White Hart Lane the most likely destination.
The divisive forward has been linked with an exit from the Baggies throughout the last few transfer windows, and that move finally seems to be on the cards, with no shortage of interest in the 22-year-old from fellow Premier League clubs.
Despite netting just four times in 26 league games this season, Berahino possesses an undeniable flair and – when settled – a ruthless eye for goal.
However, the player has not had the smoothest of off-field tenures while in the Albion setup.
A move to Tottenham at 5/6 would benefit both the ambitious Berahino – with Spurs looking set to secure Champions League football -, and a Baggies side who would surely be well recompensed for the sale of the Burundi-born hitman.
Any possibility of a move to St. James’ Park, though, would surely hinge on Newcastle’s ability to secure their Premier League status.
Another North-East heavyweight, Sunderland, are 10s to bring Berahino to Wearside, with Manchester United 20/1 to spend a chunk of their transfer kitty on the former Brentford loanee.
And the two Old Firm clubs – who played out a thrilling cup semi-final on Sunday – both have an outside chance of bringing the England U21 international north of the border.
Celtic are 22/1 to acquire his services, with Mark Warburton 33/1 to rekindle the Brentford connection, with the Rangers boss having been Berahino’s first team coach at Griffin Park.
Berahino’s current club are next in action on Thursday, as they travel to the Emirates. The Baggies are 12/1 to beat Arsenal, with the Bujumbura native 11/1 to score first.
