Neil Warnock will return to Bramall Lane – but as the away side’s manager – as he takes his table-topping QPR team to face Sheffield United.

The visitors are at the summit of the Championship following their 4-0 opening day win against Barnsley, and they are now the 6/1 favourites to clinch the title.

At 9/2 to be promoted themselves, however, Sheffield United have promotion ambitions of their own, and they will be itching to claim their first win of the season after a hard-fought 1-1 draw at Cardiff.

United are unbeaten in their last eight matches against QPR, and a win for the Blades on this occasion is priced at 5/4.

With four of the last five meetings between these two sides ending in a draw, however, it could be worth betting on another stalemate at 9/4.

Leicester vs Middlesbrough
In a battle of two promotion-chasing sides looking to bounce back from opening day defeats, Leicester are 6/4 to beat pre-season title favourites Middlesbrough.

Boro are priced at 9/4 to kick-start their campaign with three points at the Walkers Stadium, but it is worth keeping in mind that Leicester did the double over the Teessiders last season.

Paulo Sousa claimed his first win as Leicester manager on Tuesday by beating Macclesfield in the Carling Cup, and having not lost to Boro since 2002, the Foxes could be the team to back here.

Ipswich vs Burnley
Having beaten Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest on the opening day, Ipswich and Burnley meet in another of Saturday’s promotion clashes.

Home side Ipswich are the 11/8 favourites to win, and they will take heart from the fact that they have not lost to Burnley since 2006.

Looking for an immediate return to the Premier League, Burnley are 19/10 to beat Ipswich. How do you think this tie will go? See the full Ipswich vs Burnley Match Betting Odds market.
