The Champions League may take centre stage this evening but the domestic action continues apace, with no fewer than seven Championship matches taking place.

We’ve sought out tips for all of them below.

Aston Villa v Preston North End

Goals are usually on the agenda when Preston are involved.  Unfortunately for North End fans, their team is usually on the wrong end of the scoreline.

Alex Neil’s men have conceded two or more in each of their last eight Championship matches – losing six of those. Villa are 5/6 outright and 2/1 to Win with Over 2.5 Goals in the match.

Brentford v Birmingham City

Birmingham are developing a habit of taking points from promotion contenders. Sheffield United, Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion have all come away frustrated against the Blues so far.

Could they take further advantage against a Brentford side winless in four matches? You can back an away win at 4/1, with the visitors priced at 23/20 in the Double Chance market.

Hull City v Leeds United

Meetings between these two at the KCOM Stadium tend to be tight. Four of the last five on Humberside have ended in a draw. Leeds are a different proposition this season, though.

The Whites are unbeaten on the road, and 11/10 to extend that against a Hull side with a single home win this term. Mateusz Klich is 13/5 to Score Anytime for the fourth time in six away matches.

Ipswich Town v Middlesbrough

One win in 14 home league matches doesn’t make pretty reading for Ipswich fans. Their task tonight is made all the more difficult with a visit from the Championship’s most miserly defence.

Tony Pulis’ men have conceded just four goals so far this season, with all five of their triumphs coming with a zero in the against column. They’re 21/20 for victory and 21/10 to Win to Nil.

Wigan Athletic v Swansea City

Of the 20 matches involving Wigan or Swansea this season, only seven have seen both teams find the back of the net. Both Teams to Score – No, is 19/20 this evening.

Indeed, these two sides are pretty evenly matched. They’re separated by a single place in the table and locked on the same number of points. We go 23/10 about that continuing with a draw.

Reading v Queens Park Rangers

Steve Coppell was still the Reading manager the last time this fixture produced more than two goals at the Madejski Stadium. That was in 2006. Under 2.5 Goals tonight is 3/4.

The Royals have at least started scoring more consistently this season – Jon Dadi Bodvarsson has netted in each of his last three appearances. He’s 14/5 to Score in a Reading Win tonight.

Stoke City v Bolton Wanderers

Bolton’s record of one win in 48 away matches in the Championship prior to this season has been firmly put to rest. The Trotters have lost just once on the road this term, winning twice.

They’re 11/2 for another three points against a Stoke side shipping goals at a rate of knots. Gary Rowett’s men have leaked eight goals in their last three matches. Both Teams to Score tonight is 21/20.
