Fulham welcome Charlton to Craven Cottage for a Friday night fixture this week and go into the tie as favourites – something that would have been unthinkable just a few weeks ago.

While the Addicks remained unbeaten for their first 11 matches of the Championship season, the Cottagers had to wait until their ninth game of the campaign to pick up a win.

The tide is slowly turning however and as such the hosts go into the game as the 17/20 jolly, while the visitors are priced at 16/5 to take all three points.

The draw is available at 5/2 but here Ladbrokes News’ James Curtis delves a little deeper to bring you three of the best bets on the match.

Fulham to win and both teams to score @ 29/10

With Fulham unattractively priced for the win it pays to take the longer odds on both sides finding the net in a home win.

Fulham have now lost just once in six outings and have won two on the bounce at home without conceding.

Charlton have won just once in five away games and once in six meetings with Fulham, but after scoring in three of their last four outings, should be able to breach the Cottagers’ defence.

Ross McCormack to score first @ 9/2

McCormack  ended a six-game dry spell by netting a penalty against Rotherham last time out but after getting the monkey off his back he should now click into gear and add to his three goals so far this season.

The fact he’s on penalty duties for the hosts makes him an obvious pick and a nice price to net the opener here.

Igor Vetokele to score anytime @ 11/4

Much like McCormack Vetokele has struggled for goals in recent weeks, netting just once in this last seven outings.

Unlike his Fulham counterpart though the Belgian started the campaign in electric form and has six goals from 12 games despite his lean spell.

If Charlton are to get anything from the game the 22-year-old’s form will be key and if anyone from the Addicks squad is going to net, it’ll be him.
