Simon Grayson’s side travel to a local rival for the second time in a week, and Grayson will be hoping to avoid a repeat of the events in midweek.
Depsite leading for 40 minutes in Barnsley, Leeds United were woeful in a second half that saw Barnsley score five, and Simon Grayson has promised wholesale changes as Leeds visit Doncaster Rovers.
That could mean starts for Ross McCormack, Adam Clayton, Ramon Nunez, Robert Snodgrass and Bill Paynter, the latter two having recovered from injury.
Doncaster are still without last year’s nine goal striker James Hayter, but can count on Billy Sharp, who has two goals in his six starts for Doncaster this season and is 6/4 to score at any time.
The two sides have contested eight games at the Keepmoat Stadium with Leeds winning three times to Doncaster’s two – the last time these two met it ended 1-0 to Doncaster and it’s 7/1 for the same scoreline on Friday.
The games rarely produce a huge amount of goals, the eight ties average 2.25 goals with Doncaster scoring 10 times whilst Leeds have only managed eight.
But Doncaster are unbeaten in their three home games this season, winning the last two and are 11/8 to beat their Yorkshire rivals.
Doncaster haven’t had much experience of playing in front of the television cameras but when they have, Leeds, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Manchester City have all succumbed to the Vikings.
The camera’s may not see much action and a 0-0 draw is 8/1. See the full Doncaster Rovers vs Leeds United betting market here.
