Birmingham and Leeds have fallen far from their Premier League heyday but both will be given a reminder of those days as they kick-off in front of the watching Sky cameras this weekend.

Neither club has started the season particularly well but Leeds can arguably go into the tie with greater confidence having won against Bolton last time out.

Birmingham are the 6/5 favourites, but given their home record in the Championship the 23/10 price available on the draw or  a Leeds win should certainly tempt.

If fact the latter result is one of the three best bets Ladbrokes News has unearthed for the game so read on to find out why.

Leeds to win @ 23/10

Managerless though they may be Leeds ended a two game losing streak to take three points from Bolton last time out, while Birmingham are now winless in three.

More worrisome for Blues fans though is their side’s woeful form at St Andrews where they have won just one of the last 20 games, losing 11 times in that sequence.

Birmingham may have home advantage but their record and Leeds’ price mean an away win is too good to ignore.

4+ goals @ 29/10

Given both side’s poor defensive records thus far it stands to reason that there will be plenty of goals in this game.

Birmingham have shipped nine so far, including four against Wigan last time out, while Leeds have conceded eight, including four in a 4-1 defeat to Watford.

Leeds have come out on top in the last two meetings between the two, doing a 3-1 and 4-0 double over the Blues last year, making 4+ goals a tempting pick this time round.

Both teams to score @ 19/20

While the stats suggest 4+ goals is a safe bet, safer still is the both teams to score pick.

Leeds have netted in three of their last four league games and Birmingham have matched that run and with both defences leaking at present it’s safe to assume goals on both sides here.
