Leeds United are unbeaten in their last seven games at Elland Road and it’s hard to see Coventry ending that run this Saturday.
The Sky Blues are without a win in four games and have lost their last three away games on the bounce. With Lee Carsley, Sammy Clingan and defenders James McPake and Nathan Cameron all missing with injury, Leeds should have more than enough to come out on top.
Leeds are currently in sixth place following their promotion from League One last season, but Watford are just three points behind and have two games in hand. Maintaining their form at Elland Road is crucial to Leeds play-off ambitions and they should come out on top at 8/11.
Nottingham Forest v Watford
Forest’s rapid climb up the Championship table faces a massive test this Saturday as they face a Watford side also enjoying a brilliant season.
However, the Hornets have slipped up somewhat in recent weeks (they are without a win in three games) and have dropped out of the play-off places – although they have games in hand.
There have been no such problems for Billy Davies’ side though, they have won their last five games straight and should win this at 8/11.
Preston North End v Bristol City
At the other end, bottom club Preston face a battle to avoid being cut off. They are already seven points off safety and the games are running out rapidly.
They won’t get many better chances to pick up three points than this game at home against Bristol City. City haven’t won in six games and haven’t even found the net in their last five.
Backing Phil Brown’s side to get a rare win at 5/4 looks to be well worth a bet.
