With top spot in Group D and a favourable draw in the knockout stages up for grabs Arsenal will be going all out to claim victory over Galatasaray this week.

The Gunners trail group leaders Borussia Dortmund going into the last round of fixtures and with Galatasaray having nothing to play for Arsene Wenger will demand victory from his team in Istanbul.

Gala are priced at 2/1 to avenge their 4-1 hammering against Arsenal earlier in the competition, while the draw is on at 5/2 but James Curtis has identified the Arsenal win as one of three best bets for this Champions League tie.

Arsenal to win @ 13/10

With Arsenal already assured of a place in the next round and coming into this game on the back of defeat to Stoke the away win may not tempt allcomers.

However, to find Arsenal – who could top the group with a win – at odds-against – when playing a side already condemned to a European exit – should be viewed as a gift.

Gala have lost just two of their last 10 Champions League games at the Turk Telecom Arena, but Arsenal’s 4-1 win last time the side’s met suggests another rare home defeat for Ergin Ataman’s men.

Danny Welbeck to score anytime @ 7/4

Welbeck has gone off the boil of late but had Arsenal fans in raptures with his hat-trick exploits in the reverse fixture.

The England hitman has now hit 11 goals from 25 games for club and country this term and with Alexis Sanchez likely to be rested the former Manchester United man is expected to lead the line.

Gala couldn’t cope with his movement last time out so expect the 24-year-old to score at some point here.

Burak Yilmaz to score first @ 6/1

Arsenal may have been tipped to win and Welbeck to strike but there is little to suggest they will have things all their won way – even if Gala only have pride to play for.

Yilmaz netted in the last meeting between the sides and has now hit 11 goals in 19 games this season, including three in his last two outings.

The Turkey international has opened the scoring in five occasions already this season and with revenge on the brain could well ensure Arsenal have to come from behind to get their desired win.
