Celtic are the only British outfit attempting to qualify for the Champions League group stage tonight, with the SPL champions looking well-positioned to do so.

Helsingborg are the visitors to Parkhead, with the hosts holding a 2-0 aggregate advantage over the Swedes, and favoured at 8/15 to win in 90 minutes again here.

A draw would be enough for the Scottish champions though, and those anticipating a stalemate tonight could entertain the 3/1 odds regarding a stalemate.

Only one side has bested Celtic in their last eight home games in Europe meanwhile, which should be enough to deter punters from backing 5/1 Helsingborg.

Elsewhere, Dynamo Kyiv will also attempt to defend a two goal lead, as they welcome Borussia Monchengladbach to Ukraine holding a 3-1 advantage.

Kyiv are 5/6 to follow up that mightily impressive result in Germany with another win, whilst it is 5/2 for the draw that would see the Ukrainians through comfortably.

Those who feel Monchengladbach can make the group stage for the first time in their history though, can back them to give themselves a chance of doing so at 10/3.

And CFR Cluj are the final side aiming to protect a lead on their own patch, going into their second leg with FC Basel holding a 2-1 aggregate advantage.

Cluj are 8/5 to win again, but the fact that their visitors are attributed the same price for success indicates the greater quality within the Swiss sides’ ranks.

Basel were favourites to progress prior to the first leg of this clash, and if Cluj are to upset the odds, it may come via a home draw at 12/5.

Home sides are disadvantaged in other ties, as Lille must overcome FC Copenhagen at 2/5 to have any chance of advancing, entering the game giving up a 1-0 deficit.

Their Danish visitors would qualify by drawing in France at 10/3, whilst it is a huge 7/1 that they repeat their victory of last week to make the group stage.

Lille have lost only three home games in the past two seasons in league competition though, and look good to transfer that form into Europe by winning here.

Similarly, Fenerbahce will hope to turn around their tie, as they welcome Spartak Moscow to Turkey on the back of a 2-1 loss to the Russians last week.

The hosts are 5/4 to win in 90 minutes, and their away goal means that a 1-0 victory would be enough for them to progress.

In truth though, Spartak could have won by more last week, and may tempt punters at 21/10 to triumph, whilst it is 23/10 they get the draw they require to advance.
