Bayern Munich v Arsenal: Results elsewhere more vital to Gunners

Having given their Champions League qualification hopes a shot in the arm last time out, it’s the result elsewhere in Group F that is now most pivotal as Arsenal travel to Germany to face Bayern Munich.

A 2-0 victory over Pep Guardiola’s Goliath in north London gave the Gunners their first points of the group phase, but they still trail the Bavarians and Olympiacos by three in the mini league.

Arsenal need to at least match the result of their Greek rivals to stay in with a shout of reaching the knockout rounds, but with Marco Silva’s side at home to Dinamo Zagreb, who they beat last time out, momentum is with Thrylos.

Having just recorded a famous win over the Bundesliga giants as little as two weeks ago though, confidence will no doubt be sky high of another positive result.

It’s fair to say Ladbrokes don’t share that belief, rating the Emirates outfit at 13/2 to win at the Allianz Arena, with the hosts 2/5 and the draw 4/1.

Having avoided defeat in their last two trips to Munich the double chance about Arsenal at 2/1 looks a good price, despite Bayern having won every game they’ve played on their own turf and conceding just three goals this season.

That’s because Arsenal seem impervious to Bayern’s might. They’ve scored in six of their last seven games when faced with Der FCB and are 8/13 to net at least once here.

All seven of Bayern’s home games have seen over 2.5 goals scored and Ladbrokes offer 1/2 that the streak continues against the Gunners, whose last five road trips have also obliged overs backers.

Alternatively, there are two special offers at play from the bookmaker, details of which can be found below:
