Arsenal got their Champions League campaign back on track with a Danny Welbeck-inspired 4-1 demolition job against Galatasaray at the Emirates Stadium.

The north London club were pushed out to 25/1 for Champions League glory after suffering humiliation in Dortmund but are now 22/1 to lift the cup after bagging three points last night.

The Gunners, who will be expected to pick up maximum points, now face back-to-back matches against an Anderlecht side who have failed to pick up a single Champions League win in their last 10 matches in the competition.

And with Welbeck, who scored a first career hat-trick against Galatasaray, quickly finding his feet in north London Arsene Wenger’s side could be set for a run deep into the tournament.

But once again that could rest on where Arsenal finish in the group with the Borussia Dortmund return at the Emirates the vital clash before a trip to Turkey to round off the group.

Wenger will be determined to finish in top spot this time around after drawing Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Barcelona in recent seasons and whether they do or not will be the key to Arsenal’s chances of a shot at the trophy.

Watch Danny Welbeck score his first career hat-trick against Galatasaray:

On the other hand, Liverpool have been pushed out from 28/1 to 33/1 with Ladbrokes to win the Champions League after their disappointing 1-0 defeat to Basel in Switzerland.

With Real Madrid flying high at the top of the group Brendan Rodgers’ side now face a difficult task to qualify, firstly at Anfield in three weeks’ time and then the Bernabeu on November 4.

And with Basel set to play Ludogorets home and away the Reds could face a difficult position by the time they face the Swiss side in what could be a winner-takes-all encounter at Anfield on matchday six.
