Man City to win the Premier League

The Football Blogging Awards are rapidly approaching and this year they’ll be bigger and better than ever before. The creme de la creme of the online world will be represented and once again Ladbrokes News will be joining in the fun and celebrations.

As sponsors of the Best Gambling Football Blog award, we’ll be bringing you all the latest news, chat and special features from those hoping to see their fine work scoop our gong on November 17.

Voting is already open for the people you want to see nominated on next month’s shortlist and you can put your entry on the handy form below.

Launched in 2012, the Football Blogging Awards have grown immensely in popularity, reputation and prestige ever since, and this year’s ceremony is a bumper affair, with three new categories.

In addition to the regular groupings, this year you can vote for your favourite International Football Blog, Best Football Freestyler and Best Gaming Football Blog, the latter reflecting the rapid rise in e-sports.

All told, 11 categories are up for contention. And there certainly hasn’t been a shortage of material to write about, with the last 12 months providing some utterly stunning headlines.

Leicester won the Premier League, Portugal won the Euros despite winning just once in 90 minutes, Jose Mourinho is at Manchester United and Pep Guardiola is down the road at Manchester City. Meanwhile, Sam Allardyce is now the England manager. We could go on…

The shortlisted nominees will head to November’s glamorous ceremony, where football bloggers from near and far will be celebrating the year’s banteriffic work in the wondrous and historic surroundings of Old Trafford.

So if you want to nominate a blog for the best bantz, the best tips, or just for being bloody entertaining, what are you waiting for?

Stick their name down and get them on the shortlist. Fingers crossed they’ll make it to November’s awards ceremony in Manchester.

Stay tuned to news.ladbrokes.com in the run-up to the awards for plenty more!
