Spain vs Honduras – teams announced

Torres returns to Spanish starting line-up, but Iniesta is out through injury

Spain vs Honduras – teams announced

Fernando Torres returns to the starting line-up for Spain in a must win game for Vicente Del Bosque’s men. The match kicks off at 7.30pm.

Andres Iniesta misses out through injury meaning Torres (7/2 to score first) comes back to lend an extra attacking threat, while Jesus Navas (7/1), who impressed when on as a sub against Switzerland, comes in for David Silva.

That latter switch suggests Spain will turn to a 4-3-3 formation with either Torres or David Villa (11/4) on the wing.

Spain are 9/2 to win the World Cup.

Honduras make three changes to the side which lost 1-0 to Chile. Veteran forward Carlos Pavon makes way for David Suazo, who is now fully fit (14/1 to bag first).

Mario Martinez replaces Ramon Nunez and Danilo Turcios comes in for David Alvarez in two other like-for-like switches.

The teams in full:

Spain
Casillas (Captain), Pique, Puyol, Capdevila, Ramos, Alonso, Busquets, Xavi, Navas, Villa, Torres

Honduras
Valladares, Chavez, Figueroa, Izaguirre, Mendoza, Wilson Palacios, Espinoza, Martinez, Turcios, Guevarra, Suazo
