Portugal vs Brazil – teams announced

Bragging rights and top spot in Group G are at stake when Portugal take on Brazil at 3pm.

Dunga has made three changes to the team that beat Ivory Coast 3-1. Nilmar comes in for the rested Robinho and Dani Alves replaces the injured Elano, while Julio Baptista deputises for the suspended Kaka.

Portugal, meanwhile, make four changes to their side, and they name five defenders as they look to secure their passage to the round of 16 with a draw.

Ricardo Costa, Duda, Pepe and Danny are included at the expense of Miguel, Pedro Mendes, Simao and Hugo Almeida. Captain Cristiano Ronaldo leads the attack, and he is 6/1 to score first.

A draw (2/1) would see both sides reach the second round, with Brazil winning the group. A win for Portugal (13/5), however, would see them pip their old rivals to the Group G summit.

The confirmed starting line-ups are:

Portugal: Eduardo; Bruno Alves, Carvalho, Pepe, Coentrao; Costa, Duda, Tiago, Meireles; Danny, Ronaldo (Captain)

Brazil: Julio Cesar; Maicon, Lucio (Captain), Juan, Michel Bastos; Dani Alves, Gilberto Silva, Felipe Melo; Julio Baptista; Nilmar, Luis Fabiano
