Chelsea face Fulham this evening desperate for a victory to keep their Champions League qualification hopes alive.

They are currently three points behind Tottenham in fourth (it could be six by kick-off if Spurs see off Norwich) and know victory is essential.

However, bagging three points will be easier said than done against a team who they have struggled to put away in their recent meetings…

Match odds

Chelsea are the favourites for this clash at 11/10 but this has all the makings of being an incredibly close game.

Fulham have lost just four home games in the Premier League all season and head into this match on the back of consecutive league wins against Norwich and Bolton.

A win against a Chelsea side in very decent form – the Blues are looking for their fifth straight win – may be beyond them at 13/5, but there is every chance they could pick up a point.

All of the previous three meetings between these sides have seen the games finish level and another draw can be backed at 23/10.

Goal markets

Fulham have only failed to find the net three times at home this Premier League season and face a team with the fourth best away attack in the division.

A punt on both teams to score at 4/6 may be worth consideration.

Meanwhile, only one of the previous six meetings between these sides has yielded more than two goals so backing under 2.5 goals to be scored at 1/1 looks very tempting.

And, if you’re going to lump some cash on those two, then the 1-1 draw is also worth getting on at 11/2.
