After beating Austria, England's Under-19s target a win against Dutch

England youngsters out to stretch winning streak against Holland

England’s Under-19 side are 6/5 to follow their opening win over Austria with a victory against Holland at the European Under-19 Championships.

In their last seven fixtures, England have won six and drawn one, keeping three clean sheets and netting 17 goals in doing so.

Fresh from their 3-2 win against Austria, and having scored three or more goals in four of their last seven matches, it could be worth backing England to win 3-1 at 18/1 or 3-2 at 25/1.

Holland, meanwhile, have a strong record at international youth tournaments, with their most recent success coming in 2007 when they won the European Under-21 Championships.

Holland knocked England out at the semi-final stage in 2007 following an epic penalty shoot-out, which the Dutch won 13-12.

Holland were hammered 4-1 by France in their first match at these championships, with Chelsea’s Gael Kakuta the architect of the Jong Oranje’s demise.

Before this drubbing, however, Holland’s under-19s had won five of their last six matches, scoring 12 goals in the process.

A win for Holland today is priced at 9/5, while the draw is available at 11/5.

The Dutch will need to be on their guard against England’s Frank Nouble, though, as the West Ham forward will be brimming with confidence after bagging himself a brace against Austria.

Can Spain’s Under-19s emulate their senior compatriots? They are 10/11 to beat Portugal Under-19s in another of today’s matches at the European Under-19 Championships. See the full Spain Youth vs Portugal Youth market.
