The PDC circuit will be travelling to Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena for Week Two of the Premier League.
And after an entertaining opening night last time out, there’s already plenty to play for.
With Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson drawing, the best two players in the world right now are already playing catch-up to the likes of Phil Taylor, Peter Wright, James Wade and Raymond van Barneveld, who each won their respective fixtures.
So with so much already at stake, we’ve put together the perfect 18/1 acca for you to consider…
This pair both lost their opening fixture of the Premier League, but that was down to problems on the doubles – they certainly weren’t having treble troubles.
Between them, they hit eight maximums combined last week, and are probably the biggest two throwers in the tournament.
It’s also worth considering that a 180 was thrown in Lewis’ opening leg against Barney last week, while the same was done by Chizzy against the Power.
We’re surprised Taylor is as short as he is here.
Granted, Wade already has one victory under his belt, but the Machine hasn’t beaten the Power in the Premier League since 2009.
Taylor will undoubtedly have the backing of the fans in most of his matches in this, his last year on the circuit.
If the six-time Premier League champion gets off to a good start, it’s hard to see how Wade can cause an upset.
It’s great to see Klaasen back in the Premier League, but his performance last time out against Peter Wright suggested he might just be out of his depth here.
It doesn’t get any easier for him, either, as he’ll now have to face the world number two – who is already a point off top-spot.
With that in mind, we’re expecting the Flying Scotsman to live up to his nickname and get off to a great start.
Simply put, there’s no value in backing MVG anymore, and only a fool would bet against him right now.
That means we have to look elsewhere in this match, and at 5/6, we think we’ve found a great price to throw into this acca – and it’s a bet which stands until the last dart has been thrown.
While Lewis and Chisnall are two of the best maximum throwers on the circuit, Mighty Mike and Snakebite have a habit of wowing crowds with huge finishes.
Gone are the days where Wright would pause before throwing his last dart to get the crowd behind him. He has a point to prove this year – but he’ll have to take whatever chances MVG gives him.
That means we can expect at least one huge checkout in this match.
Welcome back to the Premier League, Kim.
Last week’s defeat against James Wade will have hurt the Belgian, especially given that he never really looked like winning.
And if he thought Week One was tough, it’s about to get a whole lot harder, with RVB ready and waiting to strike while the iron is still hot.
There’s no point looking elsewhere in this match, your value lies in backing the Dutchman to make it two wins in as many weeks.
