Chapoturgeon set to take up Christie’s Foxhunter Chase entry

Ante-post favourite Chapoturgeon is among 36 six-day entries for the Christie’s Foxhunter Chase at Cheltenham on Friday.

Owned in partnership by David Johnson and Paul Nicholls, the grey is now trained by Richard Barber.

Nicholls does train two entries in the race, Just Amazing and Rowdy Rampage while Willie Mullins is responsible for Boxer Georg.

On The Fringe, Salsify and Monkerty Tunkerty are other leading fancies while Donald McCain has been keen on the chances of Cloudy Lane in the build-up to the Festival.
