Colm Murphy feels there are still many more races to be won with Big Zeb – although he is highly unlikely to scale the heights of his greatest success in the Queen Mother Champion Chase.
The 11-year-old took the two-mile showpiece in 2010, was second 12 months ago, and third behind Finian’s Rainbow in Wednesday’s latest renewal.
“Everyone wants to win, but, on reflection, he ran a blinder,” the County Wexford trainer told Racing UK.
“Unfortunately he’s not getting any younger.
“This is probably his last season at this level at this place (Cheltenham), but there’s plenty of races to be mopped up with him.
“We’ll just keep tipping away with him.”
