It could be a big weekend for both David Haye and Andy Murray and patriotic punters may want to back both to witness success in their respective challenges.

The duo are known to be good mates and will both be hoping that the other can each succeed, with Haye going toe-to-toe with Wladimir Klitschko and Murray looking to secure a first Wimbledon title.

Haye will be first in the firing line on Saturday night in his heavyweight title unification bout with Klitschko and the British boxer is 11/8 to achieve victory in Hamburg.

Meanwhile, Murray continues his search for a maiden Grand Slam title at Wimbledon and he has currently made serene progress into the quarter finals, where he faces Feliciano Lopez.

If Murray beats Lopez then another Spaniard is likely to be next in the semi finals in the form of Rafael Nadal, while Roger Federer or Novak Djokovic would then logically await in Sunday’s final.

Murray is 9/2 in the Wimbledon odds to win the title, but it is 12/1 on the double that Haye beats Klitschko and Murray wins Wimbledon.

Ladbrokes are offering numerous other combination bets involving British sports competitors over the coming days, with some looking like good value.

One of these is the 6/1 that Haye claims victory and a British cyclist wears the yellow jersey at any point during the Tour De France, which is more than likely with Mark Cavendish and Bradley Wiggins expected to fare well in the opening stage.

Other combination bets include 7/1 that Haye triumphs and any British golfer tastes success at the British Open in the middle of July at Royal St Georges, with Luke Donald and Lee Westwood expected to be among the favourites.

Punters wanting to take a greater risk can get 33/1 on the treble of Haye beating Klitschko, Murray winning Wimbledon and a British golfer tasting success in the British Open, which begins on July 14th.
