New York sports fans finally have something to smile about with the Knicks putting together a nice little run in the NBA.

The city’s NFL teams may have failed to make the postseason but Mike Woodson’s side are finally starting to look like playoff contenders after going on a five game streak and it is the Knicks – who face the hapless Bobcats – who are the cornerstone of this almost 6/1 fourfold.

New York Knicks to beat Charlotte Bobcats @ 20/21

With the start New York (15-22) had to the season many fans are still on the fence about their prospects despite a five-game win streak.

However, it will take a sterner test than the Bobcats (15-23) can provide to put a dent in the Knicks’ current form.

New York are 5-2 from seven on the road and 6-2 from eight meetings with Steve Clifford’s men, including four wins from five at the Time Warner Cable Arena.

Charlotte, meanwhile, have won just once in nine outings and have disappointed their home fans on five of the last seven occasions.

Cleveland Cavaliers to beat LA Lakers @ 20/33

With three wins from 12 games and 19 losses from 22 matches on the road it would be easy to write off the Cavs (13-24) as they head to the Staples Center.

Mike Brown’s side have won just one of the last five road games with the Lakers (14-23) but will improve that record with Mike D’Antoni’s men woefully short of form.

The injury-hit Lakers are 1-10 from their last 11 and 1-4 from five at home and with the Cavs welcoming Luol Deng to the roster another defeat for the men in yellow is on the cards here.

Indiana Pacers to beat the Sacramento Kings @ 1/6

Every now and then the league throws up a complete mismatch and that is certainly the case as Sacramento (13-22) take on the high-flying Pacers (29-7) at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The Kings are actually outscoring Indiana by over four points this term but it is the hosts incredible defence that has been winning them games.

Frank Vogel’s men give up just 87.9 points on average and with the visiting Californians conceding 103.6 the writing is on the wall here.

Sacramento have lost 12 of their last 16 on the road and will see that record worsen against a Pacers side that is unbeaten in five at home.

Oklahoma City Thunder to beat Memphis Grizzlies @ 10/11

With Memphis (17-19) conceding more points than they score this season Oklahoma (28-9) will be confident of picking up a ninth win from 11 on the road.

The Thunder are 19-6 from their last 25 and despite losing four of the last five meetings with the Grizzlies must be backed for success here.

Dave Joerger’s men have won four of their last six at the FedEx Forum but will come unstuck against the road-hardened Thunder.
