Chicago upset fans and players alike with the recent trading of Luol Deng to the Cleveland Cavaliers but the players remaining have rallied, with the Bulls now on the cusp of a season’s best six-game win streak.

And with Chi Town at home against an out of sorts Wizards, the Prairie State residents head up our NBA home comfort acca, which pays £31.38 from a £10 stake at odds of over 2/1.

Chicago Bulls to beat Washington Wizards @ 20/29

Deng’s departure came as a shock to many, with the Brit playing regularly and well for the United Center outfit. But those remaining on the Bulls’ (17-18) roster know they do not have time to dwell and appear to be going out of their way to fill the void.

Tom Thibodeau’s men have won five straight in the league and are 4-1 from their last five at home, while the travelling Wizards (16-19) are 2-5 from their last seven.

Washington are 1-8 from nine visits to the Windy City and despite outscoring the Bulls by more than six points this term, the hosts’ tight defence will prove the difference.

Chicago are letting up eight points less than the Wizards this term at 91.6 and with Joakim Noah finding form in Deng’s absence, back the Bulls to go .500 for the first time since November 24th.

Toronto Raptors to beat Milwaukee Bucks @ 1/7

Milwaukee (7-29) enjoy trips to Toronto (18-17) more than anywhere else with the 45-23 road record against the Raptors a franchise best.

The Bucks are 10-1 from 11 with the Canadians including a five-game streak at the Air Canada Centre.

However, despite these impressive stats it is the hosts who are favoured here as a result of the Bucks’ current form.

Larry Drew’s side has the league’s worst win record, are 0-5 from their last five and have won just once in eight attempts on the road.

The Raptor’s, meanwhile, are 7-2 from their last nine and on the cusp of a five-game home streak for the first time since January 2013.

New York Knicks to beat Phoenix Suns at 5/8

New York (14-22) are not having the season many predicted but a recent shoring up of the defence has finally put smiles on the faces inside Madison Square Garden.

The Knicks are 5-1 from their last six and allowing an average of just 87.3 during the run after giving up 107.4 when losing four of the previous five.

This defensive improvement will be put to the test by the Suns (21-15), who are outscoring the Knicks by eight points this term, but with Amar’e Stoudemire in form the hosts look primed for victory.

Stoudemire is averaging 29 against the Suns since swapping Phoenix for the Big Apple and if he can reach those highs here, expect the Suns to leave the Empire State with a fifth loss in seven.
